The North Slope Borough School District supports eligible students through the implementation of various supports based on their individual need, whether it be special education, additional accommodations and modifications, or academically gifted.

Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), 504 Plans (504s), and Gifted Education Plans (Gifted) are all utilized to ensure all students are given the correct level of support to advance their academic ability. All plans and evaluations are overseen and managed by the Student Services and Special Education department.
