The Navigating the New Arctic Community Office is hosting a photo contest and would like to open it up for input from students and residents who live in the Arctic. I used the Inuit Circumpolar Council's definition of the Arctic, which includes the Yup'ik region of southwest Alaska. Please share this information with your respective schools.

I grew up in the Yup'ik community of Chefornak and have witnessed phenomenal sunrises and sunsets, aurora borealis, landscape views and wildlife. I know that the students and community members from the Arctic also have wonderful photos, please share this message so that students and staff at your schools can submit their photos.
