The Alaska Science Assessment is administered to grades 5, 8, and 10 using the Data Recognition Corporation (DRC) testing platform. It assesses students' understanding of the Alaska Science Standards adopted in 2019.

The Alaska Science Assessment is broken into three parts. Each part takes approximately 35 minutes.
