ACCESS for ELLs is a secure, large-scale English language proficiency assessment administered to kindergarten through 12th-grade students who have been identified as English Language Learners (ELL).

There are four subtests: reading, up to 60 minutes; listening, up to 65 minutes; speaking, up to 50 minutes; writing, up to 90 minutes.
